4 Last Minute Holiday Recipes to Bring To Your Family Dinner
By: Pura | December 22, 2019

We are just days away from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and we’re not even sure how we managed to schedule so many parties and get-togethers within such a short time. As much as we love our veggie platters, we might be getting a bit tired of hummus. This means we need some fresh inspiration when we’re short on time and avoiding hunting down crazy ingredients from the grocery store.

Here are 4 recipes we’re whipping up to ensure we’re getting invited back to next year’s parties!

vegan peanut butter balls

Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Nobody can argue that peanut butter and chocolate are an iconic duo. NOBODY. Plus we’re willing to be you likely have all the ingredients for this in your fridge already. But beware, you might eat half of these before you leave the house.

Baked Stuffed Avocados

Although we’ve never had a problem with too many avocados lying around (is this a thing?) we love the idea of baking them into something more formal for an appie! This would be delightful with red wine or maybe an apple spritzer.

Vegan Fudge

Vegan Peppermint Fudge

This recipe only has 3 ingredients! We’ll be whipping up a batch of these to take out and one to eat while watching Bridget Jone’s Diary when we get home. Who wouldn’t want a party guest to show up with fudge?!?

Pomegranate and Basil Crostini

Now, this is a show-stopper. Need something to show off your skills a bit? Then this colour and deliciously healthy recipe is the one you’re going to need! Given you might not have all this fresh produce in your kitchen right now, it’s definitely worth a trip to Whole Foods Market to make this appitizer happen!
