
Starting March 4, 2026, Health Canada will enforce the updated NHP GMP Guide (GUI-0158 Version 4.0). Under this requirement, all Natural Health Products sold in Canada must be supported by a formal stability program, including:
· A written stability testing protocol
· Real-time stability data
· A stability report to justify shelf life and storage conditions
What this means for Natural Health Products in Canada:
To continue selling or launching NHPs in Canada after March 4, 2026, compliant stability testing will be mandatory.
